During our approximately 10-hour journey, we will have 4 stops and guided tours: the Andahuaylillas temple or the “Sistine Chapel of America,” the Inca temple of Raqchi, the Raya at 4,335 meters, and the Pre-Inca Museum of Pukara. Each tour lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, allowing you to explore the attractions and making this experience unforgettable.
Buffet lunch: It consists of traditional Andean and international cuisine.
Cusco (3350 m) Departure time: 7:00 am Andahuaylillas Chapel (3122 m): Visiting hours: 8:15 am. Known as the “Sistine Chapel of America,” this church is one of the most surprising and beautiful examples of Andean folk art. The Andahuaylillas church is a gem of mestizo baroque architecture that developed in Cusco. The interior walls and ceilings feature admirable frescoes and are adorned in gold. Raqchi – Inca Temple of Wiracocha (3450 m): Visit time: 11:00 am. The most important structure in the Raqchi archaeological site is the Temple of Wiracocha, a massive rectangular two-story structure measuring 92 meters long by 25.5 meters wide and approximately 14 meters high. Its central wall is made of finely carved stones and adobe (sun-dried mud bricks with straw). Sicuani – Buffet Lunch – Countryside Restaurant (3552 m): 5. La Raya (4335 m): It is the highest point of this journey between the Cusco and Puno regions. Here, you can appreciate beautiful snow-capped mountains, landscapes, and Andean animals. Pukara (3900 m) Time: 3:30 pm. It is the most important ceremonial center of the Altiplano. The museum allows you to discover the origins of the Pucara culture through sculptures and ceramics. Arrival in the city of Puno (3800 m) at 17:00 hrs.
